Every year we are humbled by the incredible generosity fo so many. We have amazing sponsors, golfers, friends, colleagues, neighbors, supporters and a very long list of dedicated volunteers that offer their time and energy to make the Friendship Cup a most memorable and successful day raising over $450,000 in profit in five years. We are eternally grateful for the commitment of our volunteers without whom we could never offer such an exciting event.
Our volunteers are both Deaf and hard of hearing and all ages, from many organizations and from all over southeastern New England. All are welcome!
We hope you will consider joining our Friendship Cup 2009 Volunteer Team. All you need is a willingness to be part of a great day that gives back to the community. Previous knowledge of golf is not required. Duties may include registration, on course competitions, photos, raffle sales, silent and live auction management and cashiers..
We cover two golf courses at the same time, over 250 golfers and another 50 or so guests.
Volunteers will receive a free tournament shirt and tee shirt. Volunteers are requested to attend a mandatory training session on Sunday, August 9th at Pawtucket CC at 5:00 pm.
Pizza, salad and refreshments will be served immediately after the meeting where responsibilities and assignments will be given.
